Living with a disability or mental illness can place significant limitations on travel abilities. Many NDIS participants are unable to drive or use public trains, trams and buses, and a carer may not always be available to provide transport. This can make everyday living much more challenging than it needs to be.
Medical appointments, community activities and education are all central parts of anyone’s life. We don’t believe it’s fair that many people miss out on these things simply because they don’t have access to transport. Our kind, compassionate caregivers provide accessible transportation assistance to help NDIS participants with their travel arrangements.
By assisting with travel arrangements, we’re taking the pressure off both the participants and their primary caregivers. We gain an understanding of each person’s unique needs and can facilitate a wide range of abilities. Our carers build a relationship with participants, helping boost their confidence and giving them a trusted professional to talk to.
