People who suffer from disabilities or mental illnesses can often lack social interactions and group-based activities in their lives. This can contribute to feelings of being isolated, which can in turn make dealing with their condition much more challenging.
Group and centre-based activities are an excellent way for NDIS participants to build relationships and friendship networks in a safe and secure environment. Engaging in community, social and recreational activities helps build confidence, develop social skills and bring some happiness to participants’ lives. Our group and centre-based activities bring like-minded people together in an environment where they feel confident to discuss their experiences freely.
We provide the opportunity for participants to interact with others independently in a way that comes natural to them. Our activities are designed to be an enjoyable experience that also gives insight into other participants’ lives. This way, they can learn and discuss strategies to help them cope with their condition.
